Turkish clothing brand with 690 stores sold

The sales process conducted by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) for Aydınlı Group, which passed into Treasury ownership as part of FETÖ cases, has concluded. It was announced that Aydınlı Hazır Giyim Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ has been acquired by HRK Holding AŞ.

In an announcement made by the United States Polo Association (USPA) Global, it was noted that both the acquiring company, HRK Holding, and Aydınlı Group are among the licensed business partners of the U.S. Polo Assn. brand under the USPA Global umbrella. The statement emphasized that U.S. Polo Assn. is the official brand of USPA and holds a brand value of billions of dollars on a global scale.

BID OF 20 BILLION 350 MILLION LIRAS

The TMSF had organized a tender for the sale of Aydınlı Hazır Giyim, as well as PLS Marka Pazarlama, PCU Tekstil Mümessillik, and Aydınlı Moda Tekstil companies. During the tender process, the highest bid of 20 billion 350 million TL was submitted by HRK Holding, known for the Saat & Saat brand.

A GIANT NETWORK OF 690 STORES

Aydınlı Giyim, one of the leading groups in the ready-to-wear sector, operates with a total of 690 stores, 306 of which are located abroad. The group, which draws attention with its extensive store network and strong brand portfolio, was transferred to TMSF management following the July 15 coup attempt due to its alleged links to FETÖ.

The 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation had ruled last year that 12 companies within the Aydınlı Group should be transferred to the Treasury. Following this decision, the sales process was officially initiated.
