It has been reported that the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has renewed its Official Statistics Portal with a user-oriented and more interactive structure, now available with Turkish and English language options.
A statement regarding the matter was published on TÜİK's website.
The statement noted that the Official Statistics Portal was prepared to provide a single-point online access for the public to statistics produced by TÜİK and institutions included in the program under the Official Statistics Program, as well as information and developments regarding the Turkish Statistical System, and was launched for users in March 2014 under the domain name www.resmiistatistik.gov.tr.
The following was noted in the statement:
"The Official Statistics Portal has been renewed with a user-oriented and more interactive structure to better meet modern needs and has been made available with Turkish and English language options. In the new portal, which can be accessed at www.resmiistatistik.gov.tr, users will be able to access the Official Statistics Program, the National Data Release Calendar, legislation related to the Official Statistics Program, Statistics Council meeting reports, annual monitoring reports, e-services, portals, and Quality in Official Statistics and related documents."
