"Türkiye Tapu" application planned to be launched by the end of 2024
The "Türkiye Tapu" application, which aims to resolve land registry transaction processes independently of person and location, is planned to be launched by the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre by the end of 2024.
The General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, affiliated with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, has carried out many studies to accelerate land registry transactions.
In this context, the WebTapu application was implemented, allowing citizens to securely perform all kinds of land registry transactions over the internet without the need for a physical environment.
The use of the system, where all kinds of document transactions can also be carried out via e-Government, has increased over time, with the number of daily transactions reaching 200 thousand. With this application, a new contribution has been made to the digitalization of Turkey and the Ministry's applications.

With the implementation of the application, land registry transaction processes will also be carried out much faster through online transactions by personnel. Land registry sales transactions have also been able to be performed through notaries since July 1.
