Web Tapu system inaccessible
Since Friday, October 13, it has not been possible to perform General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre transactions via the e-Government portal.
Citizens were able to access services provided by public institutions from a single point, quickly and securely, by using the e-Government Gateway for land registry services.
According to the latest information, Web Tapu services are inaccessible. No official statement has been made yet by the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre. Land registry buying and selling transactions cannot be carried out via e-Government. When the Directorate is reached through its contact addresses, it is stated that service cannot be provided 'due to high traffic in the system'.
The necessary documents entered for land registry transactions are obtained from other public institutions through the system, and no additional documents are requested from citizens during the application phase. Citizens only need to go to the land registry offices for the signature. For this reason, the Web Tapu service is of great importance.
It is a matter of curiosity when the system portal will be operational again. An official statement from the Directorate is expected.
