What is Moi Ogg, the winner of the vehicle inspection station tender?
The MOI Joint Venture Group (OGG) is the consortium that submitted the highest bid in the tender for the privatization of vehicle inspection stations in Turkey. This group consists of the companies Met-Gün İnşaat Taahhüt ve Ticaret A.Ş., Itversia Gestion S.L., Opus Group AB, and VTV Norte SA.
In the tender held on February 24, 2025, MOI OGG submitted the highest total bid of 1 billion 720 million dollars, offering 830 million dollars for the 1st region and 890 million dollars for the 2nd region.
Opus Group, which is part of the MOI Joint Venture Group, is a company that has been conducting emission tests in the USA since the 1970s. Additionally, the Argentina-based VTV Norte SA, which was acquired by Opus, is also part of the group.
As a result of this tender, it is planned that vehicle inspection services will be operated by the MOI Joint Venture Group for a period of 20 years after the current contracts expire on August 14, 2027.
