What will the percentage be? The raise rate for civil servants and retirees has become clear!

TÜİK has announced the fourth inflation data of the year.

With this development, which concerns millions of civil servants, retired civil servants, and SGK and Bağ-Kur retirees, the rate of the raise to be received has also become clear.

18 PERCENT RAISE IN THE POCKET

According to this data, SGK and Bağ-Kur retirees have already earned an inflation difference of 6.70 percent for January, 4.53 percent for February, 3.16 percent for March, and 3.18 percent for April.

Thus, the raise for the third month has become clear as 18.70 percent.

MAY AND JUNE REMAIN

However, since this raise will be reflected in the salaries in July, it will be calculated cumulatively based on the monthly inflation rate announced each month. The inflation data for the remaining months of May and June are awaited.

Civil servant salaries and the pensions of retired civil servants will be increased by 15 percent in the first 6 months of 2024, 10 percent in the second 6 months, 6 percent in the first 6 months of 2025, and 5 percent in the second 6 months.

These raise rates will be applied if they remain below inflation. If inflation remains higher than the raise rates, civil servants and retired civil servants will also see the inflation difference reflected in their salaries as a raise.
