Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 0.64 percent on a weekly basis, while the dollar/TL rose by 1.29 percent, the euro/TL by 3.33 percent, and the gram price of gold by 7.81 percent.
The best-performing investment instruments of this week have been determined.
The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 8,736.45 and a high of 9,174.19 points, completed the week at 9,155.32 points, gaining 0.64 percent in value compared to the previous week's close.
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 7.81 percent this week to 2,235 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold rose by 7.85 percent to 15,025 liras.
The selling price of quarter gold, which was 3,410 liras last weekend, rose to 3,678 liras.
This week, the US dollar gained 1.29 percent in value to reach 31.9620 liras, and the euro rose by 3.33 percent to 35.0400 liras.
Investment funds gained 1.18 percent and individual pension funds gained 0.84 percent this week. When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "Precious Metals" funds with 6.32 percent.
