Which investment vehicle gained the most this week? The stock market is rising, gold is racing toward a record! What is the latest status of the Dollar and Euro?

Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 0.80 percent on a weekly basis. The BIST 100 index rose from its weekly low of 9,957.84 points to reach a high of 10,441.05 points, closing the week with a 0.80 percent increase at 10,358.46 points.

In the gold market, the gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold in the Grand Bazaar increased by 1.47 percent to reach 4,330 Turkish Lira. The Republic gold coin was sold at 29,260 Turkish Lira, an increase of 1.76 percent. The price of the quarter gold coin also rose by 1.77 percent to 7,252 Turkish Lira.

An increase was also observed in foreign exchange rates. The US dollar rose by 0.86 percent to 40.1770 Turkish Lira, while the euro increased by 0.14 percent to reach 47.0590 Turkish Lira.

Investment funds closed the week with a gain of 0.76 percent, and pension funds with a gain of 0.77 percent. Among investment funds, the highest gainers were "exchange-traded" funds with 1.36 percent.
