The world's largest economies announced! What is Turkey's ranking?

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has listed the world's largest economies this year, as it does annually. One of the most notable developments on the list is Japan losing its third-place position to Germany. Looking at the big picture, it is possible to gain important insights into the current economic situation.

Turkey ranked 17th on the list with an annual gross domestic product (GDP) of 1.15 trillion dollars and a GDP per capita of 13,380 dollars. According to the IMF report, the Turkish economy is expected to show a growth of 3.1% this year.

Having had a volume slightly larger than 905 billion dollars in 2022, the Turkish economy has thus joined the ranks of countries that have surpassed the 1 trillion dollar threshold. With this achievement, the Turkish economy has continued its growth trend that has been ongoing since 2009.
