Additional registration period announced for 2025 YKS placements

Council of Higher Education (YÖK) President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar has made an important announcement for candidates who were placed in a university according to the 2025-YKS results but were unable to complete their registration due to various excuses. Özvar announced that these candidates have been granted an additional registration period until September 12, 2025.

In a statement made via social media, Özvar noted that candidates can complete their registration procedures if they apply to the universities where they were placed and their excuses are accepted. "I advise our candidates who have not yet been able to complete their registration to make good use of this additional time," he said.

The YÖK President drew attention to the importance of candidates applying to the higher education institutions where they were placed during this process and emphasized that registration procedures could be carried out if their excuses are found to be valid.
