Class durations shortened in Gaziantep
In order to ensure that students benefit more from daylight, the Gaziantep Governor's Office has reduced class durations to 35 minutes in primary and middle schools, and to 45 minutes in kindergartens.
In a statement issued by the Governor's Office, it was announced that in order for students to benefit more from daylight, class durations in kindergartens with double-shift education have been reduced from 50 minutes to 45 minutes, and in primary and middle schools from 40 minutes to 35 minutes.

The statement included the following: "As you walk toward bright tomorrows in your schools, we are making an update so that you can benefit more from daylight. We will make the day and the sun your companions. May your path and your mind be clear on school days, and may the love and trust we feel for you always fill your hearts."
