Events to be held in schools before the semester break

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin announced that various events will be organized in schools during the weeks preceding the semester and end-of-year breaks.

Stating that activities such as word games, quiz competitions, talent shows, and debates will be included, Minister Tekin requested support from parents. The Minister said, "As of this year, we have taken a step regarding that matter; we are making a new beginning, and we want to turn that one week into a festive atmosphere where our children can use the gains they have acquired throughout the semester in their daily lives."

Furthermore, stating that they will implement a music primary school project, a first in Turkey, Minister Tekin emphasized that children should be guided toward their talents in the fields of art and sports. In this context, he expressed that the project, which they started with music, aims to provide art education to children from an early age.

Following Minister Tekin's statements, it is expected that various activities, ranging from quiz competitions to debates, and from folk dances to poetry and story reading events, will take place in schools next week.
