Teacher's praise for Minister Tekin! 'You send hearts and we go crazy'

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin attended the "end-of-term activity week" event held at Şehit Onur Doğan Primary School in Altındağ, Ankara.

After chatting with the students, Tekin met with educators in the teachers' lounge.

'WE ARE RAISING CHILDREN, NOT ROBOTS'

Emphasizing that they aim to transform the education system into a skill-oriented structure away from theoretical knowledge, Tekin said, "We want our children to both live their childhood and be able to use what they have learned in daily life. We are raising children, not robots. Let our children play and socialize with their friends."

The teacher stated, "They do their jobs with such devotion... The plans and programs you put out, and even when you follow us and send hearts, we go crazy at school. You are a celebrity to us. We are truly glad you exist. Especially with such beautiful activities that make us love the school, and by paving the way for us with these kinds of plans and telling us 'this will be done,' knowing that you are behind us is truly encouraging. Thank you very much for everything."
