Ministry of National Education gives children a say on April 23: Students from 81 provinces will do the planning

The Ministry of National Education has decided to follow a different path for the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations this year and announced that children from 81 provinces will plan the celebration events.

A FIRST WILL BE ACHIEVED

According to the statement made by the Ministry, within the scope of the practice implemented for the first time, an "April 23 Children's Day Organizing Committee" will be formed with the participation of students. In line with the decision taken by the Ministry for the first time, the planning of the celebration events to be held across Turkey will be carried out by students. In this context, students selected from 81 provinces will be included in the process and will plan the events.

The committee, which will be formed with students selected from 81 provinces to emphasize their having a say in social events, develop their leadership skills, and support their inclusion in the process, will have a say in the planning of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations to be held under the auspices of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) and the events to be organized by the Ministry of National Education (MEB).

Provincial directorates of national education will identify students who have high collaboration skills, are open to communication, and enjoy taking responsibility, and each student will be accompanied by an advisor teacher.
