Netflix and Ankara Bilim University to Provide 'Visual Effects Training'

Netflix and Ankara Bilim University, in collaboration with Anima Okul, will launch a 14-week "Introduction to the World of Visual Effects (VFX) with Netflix" program.

Netflix and Ankara Bilim University aim to contribute to the creative sector with the 14-week training, which will take place between February 28 and June 5. Anima Okul, an educational institution experienced in animation and visual effects, will also be involved in this project, which aims to train experts in the field.

15 students will participate in the training program and will be guided by the academic staff of Ankara Bilim University. Core modules include "Modelling," "Texture," "Render-Lighting," and "VFX compositing." Students who successfully complete these modules will be able to enter the sector.

Ankara Bilim University Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Demir stated in his remarks, "We are happy to collaborate with a leading digital broadcaster like Netflix, bringing together the private sector and the university. As Ankara Bilim University, we emphasize the importance of professional gains and creativity with our artechno approach. This collaboration will contribute to intellectual and theoretical developments as well as practical applications for the sector."

Netflix also carries out work such as production, screenwriting, and series development workshops by collaborating with various institutions in Turkey.
