TRT EBA transitions to single-channel broadcasting

TRT EBA, which was launched following the closure of schools due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will now broadcast via a single channel. Having provided distance education to students since March 23, 2020, TRT EBA will meet users with its new content and updated format as of January 6, 2024.

According to the statement made by TRT, the three separate educational channels known as TRT EBA Primary School, TRT EBA Middle School, and TRT EBA High School will meet viewers with their renewed look and content starting from January 6.

TRT EBA broadcasts with the aim of supporting students in accordance with the Ministry of National Education (MEB) curriculum. In addition to school lessons, the channel offers educational content in areas such as science, technology, art, culture, sports, and life skills.

Along with new programs, game shows will also be featured on TRT EBA. While the collaboration with the MEB continues, TRT EBA will have a broadcast schedule enriched with fun and instructive programs that appeal to students.

In the daily schedule, primary school lessons will take place between 08:45-10:20, middle school lessons between 11:00-13:00, and high school lessons between 13:15-16:35. Between lessons, science, culture, sports, art, competition, and talk shows will be presented to viewers. Additionally, psychological support and talk programs aimed at parents will also be featured on TRT EBA.

Question solutions and subject explanations for students preparing for high school and university entrance exams, content specifically for parents, and special programs such as "Motivation Notebook" (Motivasyon Defteri) presented by psychologist Beyhan Budak are among the notable content on TRT EBA.
