Millions sign for early elections! How many signatures have been collected?

The CHP had launched a signature campaign following the 'Freedom for Ekrem İmamoğlu Rally' held in Maltepe. The goal of the campaign was announced as reaching 27.73 million signatures, which is the number of votes AKP's Erdoğan received in the 2023 elections.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had stated that the main message of the campaign was the demand for freedom for the imprisoned Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor İmamoğlu, a vote of no confidence in AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, and a demand for early elections.

HOW MANY SIGNATURES HAVE BEEN COLLECTED FOR İMAMOĞLU?

CHP Chairman Özel addressed citizens today following the extraordinary convention and announced the number of signatures collected so far during the campaign. According to the figure announced by Özel, at least 7 million 200 thousand signatures have been collected.

Özel stated, "We have already reached 7 million 200 thousand signatures... When we succeed, there will be a government that has fallen into illegitimacy and has no choice but to bring the ballot box."
