She saved her ex-husband who stabbed her from the neighborhood residents: 'He is the father of my children'

The incident took place on Halide Edip Adıvar Street in the Şirinköy neighborhood.

According to the information obtained, Tuğba H. was stabbed multiple times in various parts of her body in the middle of the street by her recently divorced ex-husband, Tuncay A. (37).

Neighborhood residents who witnessed the moment attempted to lynch the individual with sticks. Police teams arriving at the scene fired warning shots into the air and took Tuncay A. into custody after pulling him away from the crowd.

Health teams arriving at the scene transported the seriously injured woman to the hospital by ambulance.

It was learned that the woman, whose condition remains critical, has been admitted to intensive care.

Footage of the incident recorded by a citizen has emerged.

In the footage, it can be seen that the brutal ex-husband stabbed the woman, and citizens arrived running with sticks in their hands; upon seeing this, the suspect threw the knife in his hand into a grassy area.

In the footage, it is heard that the neighborhood residents neutralized the individual, and the woman got up from the ground and tried to push away the citizens who were attempting to lynch her ex-husband, saying, "He is the father of my children."
