Instructions issued to organizations: CHP members working in favor of other parties in the elections will be expelled

In the CHP, a significant development has occurred following the local elections.

It has been noted that a disciplinary process will be initiated against individuals who, despite being CHP members, took a position against the CHP candidate during the March 31 Local Elections process.

According to the report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün; in a letter signed by CHP Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke and CHP Deputy Chairmen Gül Çiftçi and Gökan Zeybek, it was stated that the election success achieved on March 31 came thanks to the devoted work of the organizations.

In the letter, it was stated that every party member worked "wholeheartedly," and it was noted, "Unfortunately, information has been obtained that some of our members worked against our party and in favor of other parties and candidates."

DEADLINE IS APRIL 29

The letter also underlined the article of the CHP Charter that stipulates the penalty of permanent expulsion for those who work openly or covertly for other party candidates.

In this context, it was requested that the names of those who worked in favor of other parties or candidates in the March 31 Local Elections be reported. It was emphasized that the activities carried out by CHP members working against the CHP during the election period should also be written in the report.

It was reported that the reports to be prepared by CHP mayors and mayoral candidates must be submitted to the Headquarters by April 29.
