YRP Chairman Erbakan's 'peace' call: He cast his vote in Ankara!
Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan cast his vote at Rıdvan Ege Anatolian High School in Ankara. Erbakan stated, "We hope that the results that emerge when the ballot boxes are opened will be auspicious for our country and our nation."
Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan cast his vote in Ankara.
Erbakan was accompanied by Deputy Chairman and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Suat Kılıç.
After casting his vote, Erbakan said the following:
"We have fulfilled this duty. We hope that this election day will be completed in peace and tranquility. We hope that the results that emerge when the ballot boxes are opened will be auspicious for our country and our nation."
Erbakan also stated that he would follow the results at the party headquarters after iftar.
There had been tension between the Yeniden Refah Party and the AKP before the election.
