4 million TL fine for 2 companies polluting the environment
Following reports of pollution in the Büyüksu Creek, which passes through the city center of Bolu, teams from the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change launched an investigation. Two companies in Bolu were fined 4 million 643 thousand liras for polluting the environment.
As a result of the inspections, it was determined that 2 poultry companies located in the Vakıfgeçitveren and Doğancı villages were polluting the creek.
The Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change filed a criminal complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office against the 2 companies, which were issued a total of 4 million 643 thousand liras in fines.
