According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected in the Marmara, Central Anatolia, and eastern parts of the Mediterranean regions, the Western Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (excluding Erzincan, Erzurum, Ardahan, Van, and Iğdır), Southeastern Anatolia (excluding Şanlıurfa), and the surroundings of Giresun. The precipitation, which will generally be in the form of rain and showers, with occasional thunderstorms on the Mediterranean coast, and sleet and occasional snow in the higher inner parts of Giresun and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia, is expected to be locally heavy in the Western Black Sea coastal areas and the surroundings of Mersin and Adana.

Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms in the inner and western parts, and 2-4 degrees above normal in other areas.

The wind is expected to blow from the north in the western parts of the country and from the south in the east, generally light to occasionally moderate, and strong (40-60 km/h) from the north in the north of Marmara, the Western Black Sea, and the Aegean coasts.
