According to forecasts made by the Turkish State Meteorological Service: The northern, inner, and eastern parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Eastern Black Sea region, Eastern Anatolia, the eastern part of Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kayseri and Şanlıurfa, while other areas are expected to be partly cloudy and clear. Precipitation is generally expected to be in the form of rain and showers, with sleet and occasional snow in the higher inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the higher northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Bitlis, Muş, Siirt, Şırnak, and Hakkari, as well as the southwestern parts of Van. Haze and fog are expected in places during the morning and night hours in the Marmara region, inner Aegean, inner parts of the Western Mediterranean, the northwest of Central Anatolia, and the inner parts of the Western and Central Black Sea regions.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees in the inner and western parts, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

Winds are generally expected to blow from southerly directions, light to occasionally moderate.

The MGM report includes a yellow-coded warning for Hakkari, Van, and Şırnak.
