According to forecasts by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy, with rain and showers expected in the Southern Aegean, the interior of the Western Mediterranean, Central Anatolia (except Eskişehir and Karaman), the interior of the Western Black Sea, the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the north of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Adana, Osmaniye, Hatay, Sinop, Bitlis, Şırnak, and Siirt. Sleet and occasional snowfall are expected in the higher elevations of the interior of the Eastern Black Sea and the northeast of Eastern Anatolia. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Eastern Black Sea and around Ordu. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the south of the Marmara region and the Northern Aegean during the morning hours.
Air temperatures are expected to decrease in the northern and interior parts. Temperatures are expected to remain below seasonal norms in the northern parts of the country and around seasonal norms elsewhere.
The wind is expected to blow from the north and west, generally light, occasionally moderate.

The MGM report issued a yellow-coded warning for Trabzon, Rize, Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, and Artvin.
