According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy overall, with intermittent rain and showers, and locally thunderstorms, expected in the inner Aegean, the interior parts of the Mediterranean, the southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, the Eastern Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Hatay, Eskişehir, Ordu, Tokat, and the eastern districts of Samsun. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern part of Southeastern Anatolia and in the vicinity of Elazığ, Bitlis, Şırnak, and Hakkari. There is a risk of avalanches and snowmelt in sloping areas with high snow cover in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 2-4 degrees in the northern and interior parts of the country, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

Winds are generally expected to blow from southerly directions, and from northerly directions in Marmara and the North Aegean, light to occasionally moderate, and are expected to be strong (40-60 km/h) in Marmara after nightfall.
