According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country overall is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Sakarya, Bilecik, and Antalya. The precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of downpours and occasional thunderstorms, with sleet and snow expected in the interior and high parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the north of Eastern Anatolia. The rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the Eastern Mediterranean, the eastern part of Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Bitlis, Şırnak, and Hakkâri. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in sloping areas with high snow cover in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease in the northern and interior parts, remaining below seasonal norms, while staying around seasonal norms elsewhere.

Winds are expected to blow from the north and northeast in the western parts and from southerly directions in the eastern parts, light to occasionally moderate, and strong (40-60 km/h) on the Aegean coast.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly and slightly cloudy, with the eastern parts being locally very cloudy, and rain showers expected in the surroundings of Sakarya and Bilecik. Haze and local fog are expected in the morning hours.
