Consecutive warnings from Meteorology: Heavy rainfall expected in many provinces

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected across the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia (except Eskişehir), the Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Kırklareli, Sakarya, Uşak, Afyonkarahisar, and Denizli. Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the interior parts of the Eastern Mediterranean, the eastern part of Central Anatolia, the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the north of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Malatya.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees in the western parts, decrease by 5 to 7 degrees in the eastern parts, and remain largely unchanged elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow lightly, occasionally at moderate strength, generally from the north, and from the south in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia.

YELLOW-CODED ALERT FOR 5 CITIES

In the Meteorology report, a yellow-coded alert was issued for Trabzon, Rize, Giresun, Ordu, and Artvin.
