Critical warning from Meteorology for the earthquake zone
The General Directorate of Meteorology has reported that heavy rainfall is expected in the earthquake zone until this evening.
According to the statement made by the Directorate, heavy thunderstorms are expected to be locally strong in the earthquake zone, particularly along the northern coasts of Hatay, until the evening hours. Citizens are advised to be cautious and take precautions against negative conditions such as floods, flash floods, lightning, local hail, strong winds, and disruptions in transportation.
STORM WARNING FOR THE CENTRAL BLACK SEA
The General Directorate of Meteorology also issued a warning that a storm will be effective in the Central Black Sea region (between Kastamonu and Samsun) from tomorrow morning, blowing from the west and northwest. The storm is expected to lose its intensity by tomorrow evening.
