A forest fire that broke out in the Onikişubat district of Kahramanmaraş has been brought under control thanks to the rapid intervention of response teams.
A forest fire that broke out in Kahramanmaraş was brought under control following the immediate intervention of response teams. The fire was fought with 20 fire trucks, 10 water tankers, 10 first-response vehicles, and one helicopter. The cause of the fire, which started in a forested area in the Ahır Mountain region, has not yet been determined.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED FOLLOWING THE FIRE
Forestry Regional Directorate and Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality fire department teams were dispatched to the fire, the cause of which is not yet known, at the foothills of Ahır Mountain. The fire was brought under control through the rapid ground and aerial intervention of the teams. An investigation has been launched into the fire that broke out in the forested area for reasons yet to be determined.
