According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northwestern parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Marmara region (except Çanakkale), the coastal Aegean, the Western Black Sea, the coasts of the Central Black Sea, the eastern part of the Eastern Mediterranean, and the surroundings of Çankırı, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear. The rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in Zonguldak, Bartın, Düzce, Karabük, Kastamonu, the surroundings of Istanbul, and the eastern part of Tekirdağ. The wind is expected to blow from southern and westerly directions on the Mediterranean coast, and from northern and westerly directions on the coasts of Kastamonu and Samsun, occasionally reaching strong levels (40-60 km/h).
