According to the latest assessments made by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, the northern and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the surroundings of Bolu, Karabük, Giresun, Trabzon, Artvin, Kars, and Ardahan; in the inland parts of Düzce, Zonguldak, Bartın, and Rize; in the north of Eskişehir; in the east of Bursa and Ağrı; in the northeast of Bitlis; and in the north of Van. Other areas are expected to be mostly clear and sunny. Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern parts of Giresun and the western parts of Trabzon.
