Following a dry summer in Istanbul, the occupancy rates in the dams continue to fall. İSKİ has announced the latest status of the dams.
In Istanbul, where rainfall during the winter months remained below expectations, dam occupancy rates have fallen to critical levels alongside the hot weather. Due to occupancy rates dropping below 23 percent, İSKİ has issued a call for water conservation. According to İSKİ data, as of October 12, the dam occupancy rate in Istanbul has fallen to 22.36 percent.
