According to the latest forecasts by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy overall, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the northeast of the Marmara region, the Eastern Mediterranean, the north of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Istanbul, Ankara, Bitlis, Muş, Bingöl, Adıyaman, and Diyarbakır.

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Western Black Sea, Eastern Black Sea (except Giresun), Amasya, Tokat, Çorum, Malatya, Elazığ, Tunceli, Erzincan, Erzurum, Ardahan, Sakarya, and Kocaeli, and locally very heavy and severe in the coastal parts of Zonguldak, Bartın, Kastamonu, Düzce, Karabük, and Artvin.

Winds are expected to blow strongly, occasionally reaching short-term storm levels (50-80 km/h), from the north and northwest in the northeast of Marmara and the coasts of the Western Black Sea, and from the south and southwest in the interior of the Western Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia. Dust transport is expected in the southeast of Eastern Anatolia and the east of Southeastern Anatolia.

TEMPERATURES TO DROP BY 8 TO 14 DEGREES!

Air temperatures are expected to drop noticeably (by 8 to 14 degrees) in the interior, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

ORANGE ALERT FOR 3 CITIES, YELLOW FOR 14

Kastamonu, Zonguldak, and Bartın have received an orange alert, while the provinces under a yellow alert are: Ağrı, Bingöl, Bitlis, Bolu, Erzurum, Hakkari, Kars, Muş, Sinop, Van, Ardahan, Iğdır, Karabük, and Düzce.
