Warning of heavy rainfall and snowfall from the Meteorological Service

The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) has released its latest assessment, forecasting that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Eastern Mediterranean, the southern parts of Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Kırklareli, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Yalova, Antalya, Karaman, Samsun, Adıyaman, Siirt, Şırnak, and Hakkari, and the eastern parts of Çanakkale.

MARMARA

It is expected to be very cloudy, with rain and sleet in the surroundings of Kırklareli, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Yalova, and Bursa, as well as the eastern parts of Çanakkale, with snow expected in higher elevations. Winds are expected to blow from the north and northeast as strong winds and short-term storms (50-70 km/h). Icing and frost are expected in Thrace and the southeastern part of the region during the morning and night hours.
