Yellow alert from Meteorology for 10 provinces: Thunderstorms expected in many cities

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the northern, inner, and eastern parts of our country will be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected in the east of Marmara, the Eastern Mediterranean, the north of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia, the east of Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kütahya, Kayseri, and Niğde. The rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the Central and Eastern Black Sea (excluding Çorum), the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Bartın, Kastamonu, Sinop, Bingöl, Muş, and Bitlis.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 3 to 5 degrees in Central Anatolia and the Black Sea region, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow from the north and northwest in the western parts, and from the south in the eastern parts, light to occasionally moderate.

In the Meteorology report, a yellow alert was issued for 10 cities.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Since the rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the Central and Eastern Black Sea (excluding Çorum), the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Bartın, Kastamonu, Sinop, Bingöl, Muş, and Bitlis, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against potential negative consequences.
