According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northeastern parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local downpours and thunderstorms expected in the higher inland parts of the Eastern Black Sea region, while other areas are expected to be clear and sunny.

Air temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal norms in the southern and inland regions, and around seasonal norms in other areas.

The wind is expected to blow from northerly directions, light to occasionally moderate, and is expected to be strong with short-term storms (50-70 km/h) from the north and northeast in the Marmara region and the North Aegean coasts.

In the MGM report, a yellow alert was issued for Istanbul, Izmir, Kocaeli, Balıkesir, Bilecik, Bursa, Çanakkale, Edirne, Kırklareli, Manisa, Sakarya, Tekirdağ, and Yalova.
