According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and sleet in the northeast of Marmara, the north of Balıkesir, the east of Kırklareli, and the surroundings of Osmaniye and Hatay; and sleet and snowfall in the Western and Eastern Black Sea, the south and east of Central Anatolia, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kahramanmaraş, Ordu, and Tokat.

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Eastern Black Sea, as well as in the surroundings of Sivas, Yozgat, Kayseri, Nevşehir, Aksaray, Sinop, Bartın, and Gümüşhane, and the coasts of Artvin and Kastamonu.

The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in Marmara and the North Aegean. Icing and frost are expected in the inner and eastern regions during the morning and night hours, along with fog and mist. There is a risk of avalanches in the high, sloping areas with deep snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 4 to 6 degrees in the inner and western parts, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is expected to be light to occasionally moderate from northerly directions, and strong (40-60 km/h) in Marmara and the North Aegean.
