Yellow alert from Meteorology for 45 provinces: Beware of floods and flash floods!

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected across the country. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Aegean, Western Mediterranean, the interior parts of the Western and Central Black Sea, the north and west of Central Anatolia, the interior parts of the Eastern Mediterranean, the southwest of Eastern Anatolia, the north of Southeastern Anatolia, the south of Bursa, and the surroundings of Bilecik, Muş, Bitlis, Van, Şırnak, and Siirt.

Air temperatures are expected to hover around seasonal norms on the western coasts of the country, and below these norms (2-4 degrees) in other places.

The wind is expected to blow from the north in the western and northern parts, and from the south in other places, light to occasionally moderate in strength.

In the Meteorology report, a yellow alert was issued for 45 cities.

MARMARA

It is expected to be very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the south of Bursa and the surroundings of Bilecik.
