According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and downpours expected in the Black Sea region, the north and east of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kocaeli, Sakarya, Çankırı, Yozgat, Sivas, and Kayseri. Sleet is expected in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, with snow in higher elevations, while other areas are expected to be partly cloudy and clear. 

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Central Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea, the surroundings of Sinop, and the northern parts of Kastamonu. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northern directions in the southwest of Marmara, the coastal Aegean, the south of Central Anatolia, the Taurus Mountains area of the Eastern Mediterranean, the west of Eastern Anatolia, and the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea. Mist and fog are expected in some places in the inner parts during the morning and night hours.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and downpours in the surroundings of Kocaeli and Sakarya after midday. Mist and local fog are expected in the south of the region. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northern directions in the southern parts of the region.
