According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern, inner, and western parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Marmara region, the inner Aegean, the Mediterranean, the northern part of Central Anatolia, the Western and Central Black Sea, and the coastal areas of the Eastern Black Sea, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.
Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Taurus Mountains section of the Eastern Mediterranean, the surroundings of Kocaeli, Sakarya, Bolu, Düzce, Zonguldak, Bartın, Karabük, Kastamonu, and Çankırı, as well as the northern coasts of Istanbul and Kırklareli.
MARMARA
It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms across the region in the morning and afternoon hours. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Kocaeli and Sakarya, and on the northern coasts of Istanbul and Kırklareli.
