According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northern and western parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers and occasional thunderstorms in the Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, and the western parts of Central Anatolia and the Western Black Sea, while other areas are expected to be partly to mostly clear. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the west of the Marmara region and the south and west of the Aegean, and very heavy to locally extreme on the coasts of Muğla.

Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms.

Winds are generally expected to blow from southerly directions, light to occasionally moderate, and locally strong (40-60 km/h) in the western and inland parts of the country.

HEAVY RAIN AND FLOOD WARNING

According to the latest assessments; showers and thunderstorms are expected to be heavy (21-60 kg/m²) in the west of the Marmara region (Edirne, Çanakkale provinces, and the western parts of Balıkesir, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ) and the Coastal Aegean (İzmir, Aydın, Muğla, and the southern and western parts of Denizli), and very heavy to locally extreme (51-100 kg/m²) in the Marmaris, Ula, Köyceğiz, Dalaman, Ortaca, and Fethiye districts of Muğla. Caution and precautions should be taken against negative conditions such as flash floods, inundation, lightning, local small-scale hail, and the risk of waterspouts along the coastline, accompanied by strong southerly winds and storms (40-60 km/h, with gusts up to 70 km/h in some places).

YELLOW AND ORANGE CODE WARNINGS FOR 9 CITIES

In the MGM report, a yellow code warning was issued for İzmir, Muğla, Aydın, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Denizli, Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ. On the other hand, an orange alert was also issued for Muğla.
