According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northern and western parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the west of the Marmara region, the coastal parts of the Aegean, and the surroundings of Antalya, Samsun, and Sinop, while other areas are expected to be partly to mostly cloudy. Precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and downpours, with sleet and occasional snowfall in the inner and high parts of Sinop and Samsun. Icing and frost are expected in the inner and eastern parts during the morning and night hours, along with mist and occasional fog. There is a danger of avalanches in the high, sloping areas with deep snow cover in the high parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures, which have been below seasonal norms, are expected to rise in the northern, inner, and western regions, climbing above seasonal norms.

The wind is expected to blow from southerly directions, and from northerly directions in the southeastern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate, and strong, with occasional short-term storms (40-70 km/h) in the Marmara, Aegean, and Western Black Sea regions.

In the MGM report, a yellow-coded warning was issued for 14 cities, including Istanbul.
