According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected across the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the interior parts of the Western and Central Black Sea, Southeastern Anatolia, the south and west of Eastern Anatolia (excluding Hakkari and Van), and the interior parts of Ordu and Giresun. Precipitation will be seen as rain and thunderstorms in coastal areas, rain and sleet in interior and western parts, and snow in higher elevations and the eastern parts where precipitation is expected. The precipitation is expected to be heavy in the west of Marmara and the Aegean, Western Mediterranean, the east of the Eastern Mediterranean, and the west of Southeastern Anatolia, and locally very heavy and severe on the Aegean and Western Mediterranean coasts. There is a risk of avalanches in the high, sloping areas with deep snow cover in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to rise in the northern, interior, and western parts, and are estimated to be above seasonal norms in the northern parts of the country and around seasonal norms elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow generally from southerly directions, and from northeasterly and easterly directions in the Eastern Mediterranean, light to occasionally moderate, and strong with short-term storms (40-70 km/h) in the Aegean, Western Mediterranean, the south of Central Anatolia, and the interior parts of the Central Black Sea.
