According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy overall, with precipitation expected in the Aegean coastal areas (except Muğla), the Eastern Black Sea, the north and east of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Batman and Siirt, and the northern parts of Diyarbakır. The precipitation, which is expected to be in the form of rain in coastal areas and sleet and snow in other places, is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Batman, the northern parts of Diyarbakır, and the southern parts of Eastern Anatolia. Mist and occasional fog are expected along with icing and frost in the inner and eastern parts of the country. There is a risk of avalanches on the high slopes of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

It is estimated that there will be no significant change in air temperatures, and they will continue to hover around seasonal norms in the western parts of the country and 2-4 degrees below normal in the east.

HEAVY SNOWFALL WARNING

The snowfall expected in the surroundings of Muş, Şırnak, and Hakkari, as well as the north of Batman and Diyarbakır, the east of Siirt, and the southern parts of Van is expected to be heavy, and locally intense in high areas. Caution and precautions should be taken against negative conditions such as icing, frost, disruptions in transportation, and snowfall in the form of blizzards, especially in high areas.
