According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and downpours expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, the Taurus Mountains region of the Eastern Mediterranean, Western Black Sea, Central Black Sea (except Ordu), the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea, the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Eskişehir, Ankara, Çankırı, Sivas, Çorum, Bitlis, and Van. Thunderstorms are expected in some western parts, while sleet and occasional snowfall are expected in the higher interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the higher elevations of northeastern Eastern Anatolia. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the North Aegean coasts, the south of Edirne and Kırklareli, the west of Tekirdağ, and the surroundings of Çanakkale.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees in the northern, interior, and eastern parts, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is generally expected to blow from southern directions, light to occasionally moderate in strength.

In the MGM report, a yellow-coded warning was issued for İzmir, Muğla, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli, and Edirne.
