Meteorology announces: Rainy weather to be effective across Turkey

According to the assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected in the Eastern Mediterranean, the eastern part of Central Anatolia, the Central and Eastern Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Kocaeli, Yalova, Sinop, and Kastamonu, as well as the northern parts of Balıkesir and Bursa. The precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and showers, and sleet and snow in the high inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia. The precipitation is estimated to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Hatay. Icing and frost are expected in the eastern parts during the morning and night hours. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the inner parts of the Marmara and Black Sea regions. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in the high inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the sloping areas of Eastern Anatolia with high snow cover.

No significant change is expected in air temperatures; they are estimated to remain above seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south and west in the eastern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate.

It is estimated to be partly to very cloudy, with light rain in the surroundings of Kocaeli and Yalova and the northern parts of Balıkesir and Bursa. Haze and occasional fog are expected during the morning and night hours.
