According to forecasts made by the Turkish State Meteorological Service: The northeastern parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the coastal areas of the Eastern Black Sea, the surroundings of Ordu, Artvin, Kars, and Ardahan, and the northeastern parts of Erzurum, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.

Air temperatures are expected to continue to remain above seasonal norms across the country.

WARNING FOR CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY NOT TO GO OUTSIDE

Meteorology Expert Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen warned that air temperatures will increase even further in the coming days. Temperatures between 35-37 degrees are expected in Istanbul, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday. Şen stated that the elderly and children should not go outside unless necessary. It was reported that temperatures, which will reach 38 degrees in Izmir and 36-37 degrees in Ankara, will be effective across the entire country, except for the Eastern Black Sea region, for 4-5 days.
