Meteorology issues warning: Downpours are returning!

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy, with local and short-term showers and thunderstorms expected in the southwest of Marmara, the inner Aegean, the inland parts of the Western Mediterranean, the Taurus Mountains region of the Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the inland parts of the Eastern Black Sea, the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Bolu, Karabük, and Diyarbakır. Mist and occasional fog are expected in the coastal areas of the Western and Central Black Sea in the morning hours.

Air temperatures are expected to be around seasonal norms in the southern and eastern parts of the country, and 3-5 degrees above normal in other areas.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south in the southern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate.
