According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, for the next 24 hours: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent downpours and occasional thunderstorms expected across Marmara, the Aegean, the Mediterranean, Western and Central Black Sea, the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea, the west of Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Giresun, Trabzon, Erzincan, and Malatya. The precipitation is expected to be heavy in the South and Coastal Aegean, Western Mediterranean, and the surroundings of Kırklareli, Edirne, and Çanakkale, and very heavy and locally severe on the Southern Aegean coasts and the western districts of Antalya. Dust transport is expected on the western coasts of the Western Mediterranean and the Aegean coasts. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in sloping areas with high snow cover in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to rise across the country and remain above seasonal norms.

The wind is expected to blow generally from southerly directions, light to occasionally moderate, and strong from the north and northeast in Marmara (40-60 km/h), and very strong and stormy (60-80 km/h) in the Southern Aegean and Western Mediterranean.

MARMARA

It is expected to be very cloudy, with intermittent downpours across the region. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Kırklareli, Edirne, and Çanakkale.
