According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the eastern parts of the country, as well as the Marmara, Aegean, and Mediterranean regions, are expected to be partly to very cloudy. Local showers and thunderstorms are expected in the western part of Marmara, the Aegean coast, the Western Mediterranean, the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Adana and Artvin, and the interior parts of Giresun, Trabzon, and Rize, while other areas are expected to be clear and partly cloudy. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Muş and Ağrı.
